Areas we cover

Air Conditioning Across Sussex and Surrey

We cover Sussex and Surrey from our Horsham office and Lincolnshire from our base at Fosdyke, installing, servicing and repairing air conditioning for homes and businesses in towns and villages across all three counties.

Areas we cover

Two Bases, Three Counties

Our Sussex and Surrey work is planned and booked from our office in the Afon Building on Worthing Road, Horsham. From there we reach towns across both counties, from Guildford and Godalming in Surrey to Brighton, Worthing and Chichester on the Sussex coast, for surveys, installations, servicing and repairs.

Our second base is at Fosdyke, near Boston, which is also our registered office. From there we work across Lincolnshire, including Boston, Spalding, Sleaford, Grantham, Lincoln, Market Deeping, Sutterton and Donington.

Wherever you are, the service is the same: a survey before any quotation, a free written price that names the units, installation by our own engineers, and servicing afterwards with a written record of every visit. All refrigerant work is carried out under our REFCOM F-Gas company certificate, REF1019419, valid to 25 May 2028.

Our Town Pages, Nearest First

Miles are straight line distances from the Horsham office, a guide only; the drive is longer. Boundaries contain National Statistics data © Crown copyright and database right 2024, from the ONS Open Geography Portal, under the Open Government Licence.

Our Town Pages in Sussex and Surrey

We have a page for each of fourteen towns in Sussex and Surrey. Each one looks at the buildings in that town and what they mean for an installation, from the questions that come up with older and listed properties to the commercial work we carry out there.

In Surrey, the town pages are Guildford, Godalming, Dorking and Cranleigh. In Sussex, they are Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Billingshurst, Hassocks and Storrington.

A good place to start is air conditioning in Horsham, where our office is, then air conditioning in Guildford for the Surrey side and air conditioning in Brighton for the coast. Every town page also lists the villages around it that we visit.

Other Towns We Work In

The town pages are not the limit of where we go. In Sussex and Surrey we also work in Crawley, Reigate, Redhill, Leatherhead, East Grinstead, Uckfield and Crowborough, and in the villages around all of the towns named on this page.

If your town or village is not listed, it is still worth asking. Send us your postcode and we will tell you whether we cover it. If you run a business with more than one site, ask us about looking after them together under one planned maintenance contract.

Lincolnshire From Fosdyke

Our Lincolnshire base at 61b Old Main Road, Fosdyke, serves Boston, Spalding, Sleaford, Grantham, Lincoln, Market Deeping, Sutterton and Donington, along with the villages between them.

We offer the same services there as in the south: single split, multi split and ducted systems for homes, ceiling cassettes and ducted systems for offices and shops, servicing and repairs on every major brand, and planned maintenance for commercial sites. You can see the full range on our air conditioning services page, and bookings for Lincolnshire go through the same office number, 01403 733 492.

What Changes From Town to Town

The equipment does not change much from one town to the next, but the buildings do. Many of the towns we cover have historic centres with listed buildings and conservation areas, and parts of the area fall within the South Downs National Park. An outdoor unit on a listed building, or on a building in a conservation area, may need consent, so we check before we drill and suggest you confirm with the council where it applies.

Flats bring their own questions, because the freeholder or managing agent may need to agree to an outdoor unit or a hole through an outside wall. Near the sea, in towns such as Brighton, Worthing and Bognor Regis, we think carefully about where the outdoor unit sits and how it is sheltered. We cover these points on each town page and again at the survey.

Questions, Answered

Which areas do you cover?

We cover Sussex and Surrey from our Horsham office, with town pages for Guildford, Godalming, Horsham, Dorking, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Billingshurst, Cranleigh, Hassocks and Storrington. We also work in Crawley, Reigate, Redhill, Leatherhead, East Grinstead, Uckfield and Crowborough. In Lincolnshire we work from Fosdyke, near Boston, across the county.

Do you cover villages as well as towns?

Yes. We work in the villages around the towns we list as well as in the towns themselves, and each town page names the villages nearby that we visit. If your village is not mentioned anywhere on the site, send us your postcode or ring the office on 01403 733 492, and we will tell you whether we can reach you for a survey and for servicing afterwards.

Where are your offices?

Our Sussex office is at 2nd Floor, Afon Building, Worthing Road, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1TL, and it covers Sussex and Surrey. Our registered office and Lincolnshire base is at 61b Old Main Road, Fosdyke, Boston PE20 2BU. Surveys, installations and servicing all take place at your property, and bookings for both areas go through the same office number.

Can you service a system in my area that another company fitted?

Yes. We service and repair every major brand across all the areas we cover, including systems fitted by another company or by an installer who is no longer trading. On the first visit we check what is there, tell you what we find, and can then add it to a regular service schedule with a written record of each visit.

Do I need consent for an outdoor unit in a conservation area?

You may. Outdoor air conditioning units on a listed building, or on a building in a conservation area or a national park, may need consent from the council, and some councils ask for a noise assessment. The answer depends on the building and where the unit goes. We look at this at the survey and check before we drill, so you can confirm with the council first.
