The Work Behind the Photographs
Every photograph here comes from a job we have carried out. Some show a single wall mounted unit in a home. Others show ceiling cassettes in commercial premises, outdoor units on commercial sites, new pipework in a plant room, or an air handling unit being lifted into place.
We have grouped the work into four kinds: domestic, commercial, plant rooms and air handling. Between them they cover most of what we do, from a quiet unit above a bed to the plant that keeps a whole building comfortable.
When you look at an installation, the details that matter are often the easiest to miss: an outdoor unit that sits level with space around it, pipework that runs straight and is properly insulated, trunking that follows the line of the wall, and an indoor unit placed so the air moves around the room rather than straight onto the sofa or the desk.
Homes and Garden Rooms
In homes we fit wall mounted split systems in bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and garden rooms, and multi split systems where one outdoor unit serves several rooms. Every air conditioning installation is planned to look tidy inside and out: the indoor unit placed where it works well, the pipe route agreed with you before we drill, and the outdoor unit where it is easy to service and least likely to be heard next door.
We fit Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Fujitsu, GENERAL, Samsung and LG. If a system in one of these photographs catches your eye, ask us about it, and we can send the specification sheets for the units we would recommend for your own rooms.
Commercial Sites, Plant Rooms and Air Handling
Our commercial air conditioning work covers offices, shops, hospitality venues, gyms, server rooms and industrial units, often with ceiling cassettes or ducted systems and more than one outdoor unit. These jobs are planned around trading hours, and the systems can be looked after afterwards under a planned maintenance contract.
Plant rooms show a different side of the business: pipework, manifolds and valves assembled, brazed, pressure tested and insulated. Our air handling work covers installing, servicing and refurbishing air handling units, with filters, coils, fans, motors, belts and dampers replaced where they have worn.

Are these photographs of your own work?
Yes. The gallery shows jobs carried out by JAC Air Conditioning across Sussex, Surrey and Lincolnshire, and we add new photographs as work is completed, so the selection changes over time. If you would like to know more about a particular kind of job, such as a garden room or a ceiling cassette in an office, ask us and we can talk it through when we visit.
Can you fit a system like one in the gallery?
In most cases, yes, but every room and building is different, so we survey before we recommend anything. A unit that suits one bedroom may be wrong for another with more glass or a different wall. We look at the size of the space, the sun, how it is used and where the outdoor unit could go, then quote for the system that fits.
Do you take on commercial and plant room projects as well as homes?
Yes. Alongside domestic installations we design, install and maintain systems for offices, shops, hospitality venues, gyms, server rooms and industrial units, and we assemble pipework, manifolds and valves in plant rooms. We also install, maintain, repair and refurbish air handling units. Commercial work is scheduled around your trading hours and can be covered by a planned maintenance contract.
